Lee Alan Keown

  Lee Alan Keown was born in Harper, Kansas, on January 7, 1956, to Robert Eugene Keown and Betty Louise Norris.  He died on March 26, 2024, as a result of a fall in his home in Pond Creek, Oklahoma.

  Lee started his life on a farm in Harper, Kansas, and moved to Pond Creek, Oklahoma, in 1966.  He spent many summers working in the fields for his dad.  He graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1974.

  Lee held various jobs throughout his life, including working in the oil fields, owning a lawn maintenance service, flipping houses, working many years at Lowe’s, and performing home inspections.

  Lee is survived by his son, Roger Keown of Moore, Oklahoma; brother Neil of Enid; sisters Barbara (Jim) Cole of Tucson, AZ; Christine (Jim) Roberts of Pond Creek; Katie (Dennis) DeRossett of Lincoln, NE; and several nieces and nephews.

 He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anne.

  Graveside services are planned for April 27, 2024, at 11:00 at the Pond Creek Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements provided by Wilson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Pond Creek Cemetery.
